The class brings to the forefront common Cessna systems and designs that exist in most of the Citation series family line, now exceeding 8,000 units.

While the CJ series is a single-pilot jet, the SIC type rating opens doors to future employers, helps you progress toward your PIC type rating and continued career advancement.

Upon course completion, Bob endorses your training records and IACRA application for your submission to the FAA. Without further examination the FAA issues you the CE-525 type rating, limited to SIC privileges.

Attendees of a recent class of four included two seeking career employment; a seasoned aviator; and one ‘gent who had not flown for years and had not yet achieved his multi-engine rating, but found a new zest for aviation. Within 12 months of attending our training he added multi-engine-land. The FAA then issued him the Citation Jet CE-525 SIC type rating.

Training takes place at the beautiful Wilson Air Center at Memphis International Airport (KMEM). Our operations fall within the busy, but friendly Class B airspace. As a tenant at Wilson, we have exclusive use of a private classroom, access to the ramp and a quiet hangar as well as ground power for systems integration.

To perfect the right mix of information, training outlines, energy spent in preparation and presentation, a 4-student class works best. This allows each student to take multiple turns flying the airplane and observing each other's performance. It also permits the lowest investment possible and assures maximum efficiencies.

The 3-day evolution starts with two solid days of ground training, crew resource management, "hands on" pre-flight, cockpit orientation, and cockpit setup.

COURSE ITINERARY
Before arriving to class, you will be provided study materials in order to be prepared for instruction & entry examination.

  • DAY 1 begins with a closed book written exam covering the LIMITATIONS and EMERGENCY/MEMORY item procedures to verify your pre-class study preparedness.
